As she completed her student life, she instigated her career officially with (WBAB) Babylon, WVIT Hartford, WFAN, and ABC Radio Network in 1996. Later, in 2000, she joined FOX Sports as a reporter and anchor for the “New York Sports Report”. After leaving FOX Sports, she involved as a sideline reporter for ESPN Network and ABC Sports. In June 2006, she started working with WCBS-TV and CBS Sports Network. In the recent years, she is associated with the MBL Network since September 2011.

Over the period of her career, Ryan reported for the various sports events like  ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball (2004),  Monday Night Football (2005), Women’s College Basketball, THE NFL ON CBS, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship and the National League Championship Series.

Jeff worked as a part-time radio anchor for the Beasley Broadcast Group at 92.5 WXTU in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his student life, Jeff worked in WWBB, WSNE, WPST, WQGN, WKSS, WFHN, and WPRB and WCUR-AM as a DJ. Later on, Ryan left his anchoring career and turned to be an Army Colonel.
