Robbie Arnett was born on March 3, 1992, somewhere in the United States. Their follow up album ‘Control’ released in 2015 also had a successful run. On December 17, 2015 band member Andrew Heringer decided to quit the band in hopes of focusing on his own project and write music and collaborate with other artists. After the departure of one of the original members, the group was left with a quartet with 3 lead singers who could all perform with various instruments, often switching them during the person. Their fourth member was responsible for percussion. In May 2018, the band released a lead song titled ‘Move’ from their upcoming third album titled ’Adult Contemporary’ as a quartet. The album was later released on September 7.
After the success of their debut album, Robbie Arnett along with bandmates made many public and media appearances. They were invited on many late-night television shows like Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Conan. They were also invited to play opening act for many popular band tours like The Civil War, Foster The People, Bombay Bicycle Club, Cold War Kids, Stars (Canadian band), and The Walkmen. The band also toured with Lucius, Bahamas, Kopecky, and Family of the Year. Apart from this, their music has been in popular American television series like Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural, Heart of Dixie and Nikita, and American movies like Big Eyes and Fun Sizes.
When asked about their band’s name and indication, they said that Milo Greene was firstly used as an alias to help them get early gigs during their starting phase which was taken from a fictitious booking agent. They ended up keeping the name ‘Milo Greene’. Their music is often labeled as cinematic pop as their whole album is packaged in a way that sounds like a movie score or soundtrack. When describing their sound they have said to want to create music that could be easily placed in many television shows and films. Their growth in personal lives could be heard in their music too as every album is much different than the previous ones. The music videos for their songs ‘Silent Way’ and ‘1957’ were also highly praised by the critics.
