Arielle Grew up in Florida

Arielle Kebbel was born on February 19, 1985, in Winter Park, Florida. While her father’s name has not been disclosed, her mother’s name is Sherri Kebbel. She grew up with her two siblings Christian and Julie Kebbel. At the age of seventeen, Arielle graduated from Crenshaw High School in Winter Garden.

In 2002, Arielle took part in the Miss Florida Teen USA beauty pageant and was even placed as 2nd runner-up in the competition. After that, she started to work as a model. She enrolled at the Lisa Maile Image, Modeling and Acting School located in Florida where she started her training. As a model, she has appeared in many magazines such as Maxim, H, Lucky, Men’s Health, Stuff, FHM, Vegas, Bello and Razor.

Arielle had a Little Insight into Hollywood Growing Up

Arielle’s mother, Sherri, owns a production company and has worked as a writer, director and producer for multiple projects. Her short documentary titled Dan Behind His Eyes was even nominated for the best documentary at the Orlando Film Festival. Seeing her mother work in the movie industry meant Arielle grew up being fascinated by the acting world too. 

Arielle Found a Career in Acting

In order to pursue a career in acting, Arielle moved to Los Angeles. Within a week of moving to the city, she landed one of her most memorable roles to date. She auditioned for the role of Lindsay Lister in the CW’s Gilmore Girls. Lindsay Lister is a sweet girl who marries Dean Forester who is Rory Gilmore’s ex-boyfriend. She was a recurring character who appeared in 9 episodes from seasons three to five. 

Following her big break in The Gilmore Girls, she continued to get booked for many television shows. Some of her most famous appearances include the likes of Entourage, Grounded for Life, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and The Vampire Diaries. 

Arielle debuted as an actress

In 2004, she got her first movie break. She worked alongside Kevin Hart, Tom Arnold, and Snoop Dogg in a hip-hop comedy ‘Soul Plane’. She continued to work in other comedy movies like Be Cool, The Kid & I and American Pie Presents: Band Camp. In 2006, she was cast as Carrie Schaeffer in the romantic comedy film ‘John Tucker Must Die’. The same year she appeared in two more movies ‘Aquamarine’ and ‘The Grudge 2’. While Aquamarine was a moderate box office success grossing over $23 million, Grudge 2 was a much more successful sequel earning about $70 million. 

Besides these, Arielle has worked in many other movies like Daydreamer (2007), Forever Strong (2008), The Uninvited (2009), Vampires Suck (2010), Think Like a Man (2012) and many more. 

Arielle is Still Active in the Acting Business

While Arielle never got her deserved lead roles in most of her film and tv projects, she has continued to work as an actress in the industry for a long time. She has appeared in three of the instalments of the After series. Her other works are more focused on TV. These works include Ballers (2015-2016, 2019), Midnight, Texas (2017-2018), Grand Hotel(2019) and many more.

As of recently, she has a recurring role as Lucy Donato in the TV series 9-1-1 which is an American procedural television series that follows the lives of Los Angeles responders; police, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers.

Arielle Kebbel has always had a lot of love for horses. She took her first riding lesson when she was only five years old. She has always advocated against the daily round-up and slaughter of horses. She enjoys her farm life a lot. She had once said:

“In my perfect world, I go off and make films, and then come home to my farm”

Arielle is Active in Social Media

With an Instagram following of over 750k, Arielle has been posting a few photos here and there since 2019. The few times she posts something, it mostly has to do with the things she is passionate about like her horses, equal rights and many more. She also has a Twitter following of 221k followers where she is relatively more active. 

Arielle’s Relationship Status is Single

Throughout much of her career, she has opted out of being too open about her private life. There has never been any news regarding her having any romantic entanglement. Since she is enjoying life working and living on a farm, she seems fully content with her life. About finding someone to be her partner, she had once said:

“I want someone who can respectfully challenge me. I enjoy being with someone who can offer me the opposite.”

Arielle’s sister Disappearance Caused Quite an Uproar

On February 3, 2018, Arielle shared the upsetting news that her sister Julie had been missing in hopes that somebody would report her appearance. She mentioned that she disappeared after taking her dog, Cindy for a walk at 11 pm. She urged anyone who was reading the post to be on the lookout for her sister. Many celebrities like Brittany Snow, Amy Schumer and Kelly Jackle shared her post on their social media accounts too. 

Luckily, Julie was found unharmed. Many people including the Los Angeles Police Department, KlaasKIDS, SERT Ministries and Anonymity Rescue put their best efforts into bringing Julia home. It was later revealed that Julie suffers from bipolar disorder and had suffered severe episodes at the end of January. Julie herself revealed the truth about her condition and thanked everyone who came forward to help her through her difficult time.
