Kurt Steven Angle was born on December 9, 1968, in Mt. Lebanon Township, Pennslyvania, USA. Kurt Angle started to train from a very young age to be a wrestler. After losing his father David Angle in a construction accident at an age of 16, he started to see his wrestling coach David Schultz as a paternal figure. Kurt was very talented at a young age. He went undefeated on the freshman wrestling team at Canon-McMillan High and qualified for the state wrestling tournament his sophomore year.
